How to Install Plutonium Kodi Build Under 5 Minutes (2021)

The Plutonium Build is a pre-alpha Kodi build that was created by a member of the XBMC forums. It is not ready for general use and is not recommended for use in public. It is designed to give developers insight into how to build a pre-alpha build for use in future Kodi builds. The Plutonium Build is not a final build, and may require changes before it is ready for a public release.

Plutonium Build is one of the best maintained builds out there for Kodi and remains a top choice for Kodi users, even with the latest development release of Krypton. It’s a very stable build and offers some very high quality features as well. This post will demonstrate how to install Plutonium Build on your Kodi device in under 5 minutes.

This guide will give you detailed instructions on how to install Plutonium Build on Kodi 18.9 Leia and below.  You can use these instructions on any device that supports Kodi. It works on Android devices, Amazon FireStick, Android TV boxes, Windows, Mac, iOS and more.

The biggest advantage of the Kodi version is the time and effort saved by installing video add-ons separately. But buildings like Plutonium give you more than just additions. They give you a whole new way to use Kodi. They are very different from the boring standard Kodi interface.

Although there are many Kodi builds, the Plutonium Kodi build is definitely worth a try. It works almost flawlessly on all devices, including inferior ones like Amazon’s FireStick. This version has an impressive list of add-ons for movies, shows, live streaming, sports, etc. I say, give it a try. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

Attention KODI users: please read before continuing

Kodi addons / modules offer unlimited streaming content, but can also get you in legal trouble if you get caught watching movies / TV shows / sports for free. Kodi users are strongly advised to always connect a VPN when streaming online. A good Kodi VPN can hide your identity, bypass government surveillance, block content, and ISP throttling (which also contributes to buffer-free streaming).

I use ExpressVPN, which is the fastest and most secure VPN. It is very easy to install on any device, including the Amazon FireStick. Get 3 months free and save 49% on annual plans. There is also a 30 day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you can always ask for a refund.

To install a third-party plugin (addon or assembly) on Kodi, make sure the Unknown Sources security option is enabled. Kodi keeps it disabled by default to prevent a malicious addon from installing itself.

For secure addons or builds, such as. B. Plutonium Kodi Build, enable this option by following the steps below:

#1 : Open the main menu of Kodi settings. To do this, you need to click on the cog icon on the main screen of Kodi (look in the top left corner).

#2 : In the options under Settings, click System Settings

#3 : Select or highlight the Extras menu on the left side of the next screen

You should now see a number of options on the right, as well as Unknown Sources. This option must be enabled if it is disabled. Click on the button next to it.

#4 : Then click on Yes.

Ignore this warning message. As I said before, the Plutonium Kodi version is 100 percent secure.

If you enable Unknown Sources, you allow Kodi to accept third-party builds.

#6 : Now select the Enter a name for this media source check box and type the name you want to use to identify the media source.

Let’s take Ezzer.

Press OK.

So far, you’ve added a link to the source and asked Kodi to get the necessary files from there. We will see how to proceed in the next steps.

#7 : Return to the Home screen or the Home screen of the Kodi application. Click on Add-ons in the left menu.

Click on the Package Installer option on the left (see figure). This is the option represented by the open window icon

#8 : In the next window, select Install from zip file.

#9 : Find ezzer (or another source name you added earlier) and click on it.

#10 : You should now see a zip file named in the next window.

Click on this file

This is another part of the process that we have adopted. The repository you just installed will be used to get the EzzerMacs master.

Click Cancel when prompted for the first time

#19 : Click Next to proceed to the following prompt

Message: If you want to make changes to any of the listed options, click on those options before clicking Next.

#20 : At the third message, press Ignore

Message: This tooltip takes you directly to the build list when you click on the Build menu. But I got ignored to tell you how to access the list from the Kodi home screen, in case you decide to install the version a little later.

Message: These clues may resurface. Choose the same options again.

#21 : Return to the Kodi home screen. Then open the Add-ons and Software Add-ons window. In the Software Add-ons section, click EzzerMacs Wizard.

#22 : Click the Builds tab in the top left corner and the list of builds will appear on the left side of the Ezzermacs wizard interface.

#23 : Choose Ezzer-Mac’s Plutonium build for your version of Kodi (18 Leia or 17.6 Krypton).

#24 : Go to the right side of the window and click on Fresh Setup.

I always choose the fresh install instead of the default install because it’s better to install a version of Kodi from scratch. If you prefer, you can choose the default installation. However, this can lead to problems later on.

#25 : Press Yes when prompted

#26 : Now all you have to do is wait for the compilation to install. Downloading and installing usually takes a few minutes, depending on your device and internet connection.

#27 : Once the build is installed, click OK to force close Kodi.

You have successfully installed Plutonium Build on Kodi.

Before you start streaming video with Kodi addons or modules, I want to warn you that everything you stream on Kodi is visible to your ISP and the government. This means that streaming copyrighted content (free movies, TV shows, live broadcasts and sports) can lead to legal problems.

Fortunately, there is a reliable way to hide all your streaming activities from your ISP and the government. All you need is a good VPN for Kodi. A VPN masks your original IP address and helps you bypass surveillance, ISPs and geographical restrictions on content.

Personally, I use and recommend ExpressVPN, the fastest and most secure VPN. It is compatible with all types of applications and streaming devices.

OPINION: We do not encourage copyright infringement. But what if you accidentally upload content from an illegal source? It is not always easy to distinguish between a legal and an illegal source.

So before you start streaming on Kodi, read here how to get VPN protection in 3 easy steps.

Step one: Purchase your ExpressVPN subscription HERE. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. This means you can use it for free for the first 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the service (which is unlikely), you can ask for a full refund.

Step two: Click HERE to download and install the ExpressVPN application on your streaming device. If you are using a FireStick, I have included the exact steps below, starting with step 4.

Step three: Click on the power icon to connect to the VPN server. That’s it. Now your connection is secure with the fastest and best VPN for Kodi.

The steps to install Kodi VPN on Fire TV devices are described below. If you have other broadcast devices, follow steps 1 to 3 above.

Step four: Sign up for ExpressVPN HERE (if you are not already a subscriber).

Step 5: Go to the Fire TV Stick home screen. Click the Search button and then the Search option (see figure below).

Step six: Type expressvpn into the search bar and select when it appears.

Seventh step: Click on the Download button.

Step 8: Open the ExpressVPN application and log in using the username and password you created when you purchased your ExpressVPN subscription.

Step 9: Click on the power icon to connect to the VPN server. That’s it. Now your FireStick is protected with the fastest VPN.

Plutonium Kodi BuildOverview

Like any other build, the Plutonium Kodi build comes with a number of pre-installed add-ons. There are many add-ons available to display a wide variety of multimedia content.

As you would expect, this version includes a collection of addons for streaming free movies and series. But it also has an impressive list of addons for live TV and sports. There is also a special section for children’s content.

When you first start Plutonium Build on Kodi, it may seem slow. Don’t worry, there’s no problem with the assembly. The first thing each build does after installation is update the existing addons. There are probably some addons that came out with the new updates.

Installing the update slows things down a bit. However, it is better to wait and let the update complete. Modern addons are faster and offer better content.

The Kodi Plutonium build theme is somewhat catchy, with eye-catching visuals. A topic like this will interest many users. I like that kind of color and contrast sometimes too.

The interface and layout of the build look familiar, as the layout is standard and similar to many other builds I’ve seen. In this one, the menu bar spans the entire width of the screen, somewhere in the middle. The submenu bar is linked to the main menu bar.

The main menu bar also contains the usual options like movies, TV shows, sports, live streaming, etc. Whether you’ve used Kodi builds in the past or not, you’ll quickly become familiar with the Kodi Plutonium build.

Go ahead and start exploring the structure. There are many exciting opportunities waiting to be discovered.

The Kodi Plutonium build may not be the most recognizable name in the world of Kodi builds, but it deserves attention. I discovered this build while searching for new Kodi builds that might be useful to my readers. I’ve been using it for a while now and I’m very happy with it. With different add-ons for all the types of video content I like to watch, and different utilities, it made sense. That’s why I thought it would be a good idea to introduce this installation to you. Here I am with this manual. Let me know what you think of this build in the comments below.
